Miguel Milá. 1962

Like all Milá objects, the Cestita lamp maintains a balance between rational functionalism and the legacy of local craftsmanship.

Details
This smaller version of the Cesta lamp, both conceived more than five decades ago, is composed of a subtle structure of carefully polished and sturdily assembled wood that houses an opal-shaped glass globe from which the light is diffused. As an ambient light, this design constitutes an object-lamp that generates pleasing spaces wherever it is placed.
